The intelligent junction box can be used to link together inputs from 1 to 4 load cells in parallel and output the total weight on the loadcells connected. Each of the loadcells can be monitored by individually switching out the other loadcells in the system. This operation mode is advantageous for loadcell fault finding, the process  is made quick and easy since no other external circuits are included in the system, hence the faulty loadcell can be linked out by using the on board switches. The result will be that the display will show a correct reading albeit with less resolution.

The intelligence is in the SY045 indicator.  The SY045 is a high precision 4 loadcell input unit with 6 digit display to display load cell measurements.This versatile unit can operate a loop powered indicator or can be set up as the unique `Ghost Mode` indicator, in environments where it may be awkward to install a mains supply the junction box can be powered by the excitation voltage to the load cells.  The choice is yours and simply needs you to set a jumper to your required configuration.

If your application requires a 4-20mA output signal, then an SY046 amplifier can be included in the system. This gives the advantage of being able to tare off the measurements remotely using a closing contact or voltage pulse.
