Junction Box

Standard Junction boxes are used to parralel wire multiple loadcells to add the outputs together to give a total load indication. Usually locally loacated next to the load cells allowing for a single cable to be used to take the signal to the indicators or control system. A variation of the simple junction box is the introduction of the 'Intelligent' Junction box designed to assist engineers in fault finding in vessel weighing system to identify faulty load cells quickly, a spin off from this idea is to have local indication as well, without the need of additional power lines, enabling load monitoring at the vessel by operators or engineers alike. These indicators can also aid installation of loadcells for corner balancing.

SY045 Intelligent Junction Box

Intelligent Junction Box. The Base unit can be used to link together inputs from 1 to 4 load cells in parallel. In this case the unit will output the total weight of the loadcells connected. Each of the loadcells can be monitored by individually switching out the other loadcells in the system. This operation mode is advantageous as loadcell fault finding is made quick and easy since no other external circuits are included in the system, hence faulty loadcell can be linked out by using the on board switches.

SY-JB-IP65 Sealed Load Cell Junction Box

The Junction box is a simple easy to instal IP65 sealed unit . Useful to parallel connection of loadcells and take just one cable out to any indicator, controller or a PLC. Up to 4 loadcells can be connected in parallel, with each loadcell having excitation voltage up to 10V. The junction box can be used with all of weight indicators we supply. Where a digital display of the loadcell output is required at the junction box then the SY045-JB Junction box is a must for any installation.
